The smash burger is 10/10 and the boneless chicken is amazing . Super crispy chicken. The milkshake is watery though The service is good the employees aren't really too interactive but there energy isnt bad either. The games around the place is cool but the place is small for alot of people to be in. I would recommend the smash burgers though for sure! with no fries.

Such a cute late night spot, that feels like you just stepped into a game of Mario as soon as you walk in. The door makes the cute sound of Mario when he sizes up! Just the cutest aesthetic!! I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat as they had so many options. I will say it is on the greasier side. If you're looking for something healthy this may not be the place for you. I had the cheat code fries and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both were amazing. The cheat code fries are like if you covered your French fries in all the ingredients of a Big Mac - minus the bun. Super genius and super delicious! The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was delicious, but SPICY !!! The service was great and the staff helped us figure out how to play the video games ( they have so many options from the 80's/90's and they're free). I will definitely be back!

The food was good. I got a vegan burger with tater tot's. I wasn't too crazy about the seasoning on the tater's but it was okay w/ some ketchup. The service was friendly w/ all questions answered. The space is casual, gamer friendly and laid back vibe. The tables have games consoles were you can play.

I came back again just a few days after the first time I tried. I wanted to come taste the Retro Loaded Fries. I absolutely loved them. Keep in mind that this dish has cheese sauce, grilled onions, jalapenos & and beef Bacon. If you are a spice lover like me, then you will enjoy the heat that these fries give off. The fries on its own are seasoned well, but with the cheese sauce, jalapeno, and the crispy bacon, it just brings the fries to a whole other level. Portions are big, so you are able to share if you want. Came in late afternoon this time around it is definitely more crowded than past midnight. But we were still able to find a table. Honestly, you feel like a big kid in this restaurant. So many old school games to choose from. Staff here are super friendly and helpful.

I wasn't aware of where we were headed so it was a pleasant surprise that 8-bit was the destination, it's an adorable spot! I love that the entire theme here is childhood nostalgia. The wait for a game table was about 30 mins but since there's only two, it's not bad when put into perspective. The tables have the controllers and game system set up with plenty of options. The food was tasty but this space definitely wowed me more with atmosphere. Pricing was on par with NYC expectations.

So fun! Great burger joint! I accidentally ordered the Beyond burger, not knowing those are usually plant-based. You'd never know! Fun atmosphere with video game stations installed at the tables. Note, there'll be a slight wait for food as they cook at time of order so everything is fresh. Worth the slight wait, so go have fun with the videos!

I thought maybe this place would be just ok because it's a bit gimmicky but I was pleasantly surprised. I got a double burger and fries for $13. The burger was smashed and was pretty tasty. The fries could have used a lot more seasoning. Overall it was pretty good. Not great but good and a good price for a double burger...plus you can't go wrong with games while playing. They had hundreds of games. Would recommend.

I had this placed saved to take my son but when he asked me to go there with friends last night I was a bit hesitant lol but I let him go anyway. He was impressed with every single thing he ate. I couldn't let him leave without bringing something back for me. I asked for the double cheeseburger with no tomatoes and it came with fries. 10/10, 5/5 however you want to rate it. I put the fries in the air fryer for about 3-4 mins. This place did not disappoint. I'm not a huge burger person but my stomach thanked me after every bite. If you're looking for a dope burger spot that has a fun atmosphere, with video games please check this place out.

Okay! So this was my first time trying 8-Bit Bites! They have games you can play while you sit and eat, there are really only 3 tables and 3 side chairs at a little high top in the front. Each table sits 4 people, I tried to go here on my break a few days ago and it was PACKED so I decided not to go. Today was a little less packed, so I decided to try it and see what the hype was all about. I got the chicken sandwich and fries with a side of their 8-bit sauce. Overall the sandwich was super good, I also added cheese to it! The french fries remind of potato chips and the seasoning on them is SUPER good. Their sauce is also yummy, pretty much like everywhere's signature sauce. The staff was very friendly, the set up was cool, very unique. No bathrooms, and was pretty clean. The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because it was EXTREMELY loud in here. Music with the gaming sound on top, super overwhelming. Kids might love this place because of the games and how loud it is. It's also very small. Everyone had a milkshake so I definitely feel like I missed out on that memo! They also have a self ordering station where you can order through the screen and not talk to a staff member. Would definitely try more items & a milkshake next time! Overall super yummy!

Came here during their soft opening. Love the 80s music playing outside. Once you enter there is a cool light up floor. The décor was nostalgic but also made me feel like I was on an episode of Saved By The Bell (the early years). There are about 3 tables and with each table there is an accompanying game console playing classic 80s video games. I'm here for Pac Man and Street Fighter all day. It was dope to play the games while waiting for my food. To order, you can go to the counter or use the kiosk. If you order at the koisk there is a secret menu on there as well. The menu consists of halal burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and dessert. One thing that was really cool was the squad box which is great for group of 4 to 12 ppl. I was overwhelmed with what I should order but ultimately I went with the Nashville Chick ($7) which came with spicy Nashville chicken, coleslaw and pickles. It was cool but I've had better. The flavor wasn't there for me. I'm not ruling them out though. I'd like to try something from their secret menu or the loaded fries. Follow @ifancyny for more
